TaggerNews
HackerNews digest powered by LLM multi-agent chains. Currently migrating to a C++ web server with custom EventLoop and thread pool, with CI/CD.
Fordex Code / GResearch
Agent orchestration and communication protocol for multi-developer-agent cooperation. DAG-based MCP server for multi-session research workflows.
LoRA Merging for Continual Learning
Research at RSiM Lab, BIFOLD Berlin, working with SpectralGPT and BigEarthNet V2.
FFN with CUDA
Data and model parallelism implemented from scratch.
BERT on ARM (Bachelor Thesis)
Computational offloading for edge inference.
Languages
Python
Python has been my go-to language for ML / AI related tasks. I've been using it extensively from 2017, the Tensorflow and Sklearn era.
Now I use for rapid prototyping and delivering various AI-powered applications with a broad range of tools.
• Experience with FastAPI and async for backend development
• Experience with frameworks for AI Apps. (LangGraph, Vector DB, Streamlit, vLLM)
• Experience with PyTorch for training and inference (Segmentation, LoRA, ViT)
• Data science with pandas, numpy, and scikit-learn.
C++
C++ is my first language to learn OOP, data structure, algorithms, operating systems, and parallel computing.
• Built FFN wit CUDA from scratch, implementing data and model parallelism schema to speed up training and inference.
• Smart pointers for ownership, STLs for engineering practice, multi-threading, concurrency.
• Migrating TaggerNews to a C++ web server with custom EventLoop and thread pool
C
CPP101: Learn pointers and memory allocation with C. I used it also for arduino programming, including:
• An arduino car, lifting a water bucket, moving to a designated location, releasing the water bucket, as fast & steady as possible.
• A glove-shaped MIDI controller, using pressure sensor to detect finger movement and connected to PC via bluetooth to play different instruments in real time.
Rust
I'm learning Rust alongside my C++ work, drawn by its memory safety guarantees and expressive type system. Its functional programming features also appeal to me as someone who enjoyed Haskell years ago.
• Building a SQLite clone from scratch as a learning project
• Made some contributions to nushell and uutils/coreutils (currently paused)
• Working through Rustlings exercises

MandarinNATIVE
My mother tongue.
The language spoken in my hometown (the Northeastern part of China) is a dialect of Mandarin, with an accent famous for hilarious "sketch comedy" (小品 xiǎopǐn) at CCTV's New Year's Gala before 2011.
Though I'm able to understand ~40% of Shanghainese due to 6 years of occasional exposure, I couldn't speak it. I've always wished I could have the chance to learn another Chinese.
EnglishC1/C2
Started at 6. It has become my primary language for academics and profession.
- Middle School: Video games played on XBOX360 in English
- University: Bachelor program fully taught in English by an international team
- Courses: Scored A and A- in Academic Writing I & II
- ToEFL iBT: Scored 110 without preparation
- Engaged in Reddit & other online English communities
GermanC1
Started at 20 at university with Prof. XIE Quanbo. Passed C1-level exam.
"Der Mensch erkennt sich nur im Menschen, nur das Leben lehret jedem, was er sei."
French~B1
Started at 13 with my dear Canadian professeure Catherine Forestier. I can impress people by faking a rather authentic French accent, which I find quite fun.
Japanese
Started at 16 with tons of J-Drama, movie, manga, anime. Have quite a vocabulary and can understand to some certain degree while struggle to express myself fluently.
『本当に廻り道だった、本当に、本当に、 なんて遠い廻り道……』
Latin
Started at 21 with Prof. LI Juan using Unikurs Latein. Learning Latin has given me insights into the roots and connections of Romance languages, as well as enhanced my understanding of etymology and history.
Big fan of polýMATHY. Looking forward to speaking Latin in Vatican city and understanding the new pope's speech after "Habemus Papam".(That's not a curse to you your holiness Leo XIV XD)
Sanskrit
Started at 21 with Prof. WANG Pin using Stenzler's Elementarbuchto explore the early Indo-european language, and to truly understand Buddhist scripts translated to Chinese.

Life
Mental Health
Developed through years of China's education system and upbringing, I suffer from Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder (OCPD), It forged my way to one of the top 4 universities in China, but the subsequent inability to perform as well as my outstanding peers in the university stressed me out. From 2017 to 2023, I kept pushing myself by sacrificing all my leisure activities and hobbies, only to find myself lost in depression and anxiety, which further deteriorated my performance along with the impact of the pandemic and lockdown.
It was not until late 2025 that I finally found my true problem with a truly professional therapist and started to reorient my life. I began to accept that this was the detour that I had to take, and learned to balance work and leisure, in order to be healthy and unleash my full potential.
Gradually, I started to rediscover my hobbies and interests, and my confusion about life miraculously faded away --- I can find purpose and joy even in productivity again. Although I still have a long way to go, I have learned how to cope with my OCPD and obtained a strong determination to rebuild my career and life.

Social Activity
I believe in contributing to causes I care about. Here are some of the communities I've been part of.
SJTU Kaifeng
I was the vice director of Kaifeng from 2018 to 2019, a student organization for feminists and queers in SJTU.
Volunteering
I volunteered in 2019 in Shanghai Xinsheng Choir, a choir for migrant workers' children to craft advertising posters for their concerts and events.
Animals on Campus
I was part of SJTU喵汪 (SJTU meow-woof) from 2021 to 2022, a student organization to conduct TNVR (trap, neuter, vaccinate, release/adoption) and help sick/injured stray cats & dogs on campus.
